Full Porcelain Crowns

Porcelain has been used in the dental field for many years, mostly in crowns. In years past those crowns had a layer of metal that touched the tooth with the porcelain baked on to the outside, making them the same color as your other teeth. In more modern years we have been able to make a crown that is all porcelain. The look of these all porcelain crowns is more natural making it hard to tell between them and your real teeth. We use these new crowns on both the front and the back teeth.

Radiant Veneers

Many people have heard of a veneer. It is a thin, all porcelain shell that fits on just the front of the tooth similar to a pretend fingernail. Veneers allow patients who what to change their smiles in a short amount of time. You can change the shape, and color of your front teeth with veneers.

Invisalign

Along with our traditional braces, we offer a more cosmetic choice with Invisalign. Invisalign is a series of specially made trays that you wear to move teeth over time. Some patients have completed treatment in as little as six months. The trays are clear and most people won’t even know you are having treatment.

Whitening

Woodland Park Dental offers two types of teeth whitening. Our favorite is the Sapphire 1 hour whitening. Patients come in and in less time than it takes to see a movie your teeth can be as much as 9 shades whiter. The other option we offer through our whitening for life is the more traditional tray system. We make a custom fit whitening tray for you, and most patients have a brighter smile in two weeks. Whichever option you choose, you will be excited with your new look.

Expansion Appliances
We believe in big healthy smiles. That belief goes right along with our no extraction orthodontic approach. This approach may include the early use of expansion appliances or retainers. Children as young as four can be evaluated for this type of expansion appliance. In some children, the use of these retainers can shorten the treatment time of braces.

Braces
Some of our patients start with the expansion appliances. Others start with the braces. When it comes time for braces, we have many choices for our patients. Silver brackets, gold brackets or nearly clear brackets. Dr. Hearne will help you choose what option is best for your case.
